Thanks to the Silver Falcons
While sitting out the heat on Red Hill on Sunday and with the dying lift proving problematic,
we were only too happy to see the South African Navy Day play out at the Simonstown Naval docks just below us.
Navy Day is normally packed and the traffic is hectic, so we were only too glad to be
propped up on top of Red Hill watching the spectacle unfold before us.
Choppers, ships, rescues, smoke, boom bada boom and all the rest was followed by a Silver Falcons display.
Being positioned on the top of the hill we were in prime position above the great natural amphitheater so as
to take in the show, and get the Tucano’s coming right over our heads after breaking formation after a maneuver.
Thanks Silver Falcons, it was awesome. Now can you do it at the PSS festival please?
