Blasted summer winds in winter
With the cold and some rain firmly set in place,
one would have thought that Chapman’s Peak would heve been the slope of choice at the moment.
But hey no way, mother nature has other ideas and delivered
a howling South Easter of note on Saturday that scuppered plans to have the aero league
up and running, as the wind went off the Richter scale.
Sunday tapered off somewhat in the face of an approaching frontal system
and conditions were really great on the slope, but attendance
somewhat lower than usual due to family and Mother’s day commitments.
So this weekend looks like the time to run the league again with a slight adjustment.
After consideration it has been decided to replace the alternating
roll with the 1/2 reverse Cuban 8, as the alternating roll somewhat
exceeds the class C requirements. So herewith the adjusted list for the weekend.
|1. One Roll||2. One Loop|
|3. Straight Inverted||4. Two Inside loops|
|5. Two Rolls||6. Stall turn|
|7. Split S||8. Immelman Turn|
|9. 1/2 Reverse Cuban 8|
Looks like Saturday will be the day, so wax up those boards
