A break in the day
After a somewhat wet week last week, Saturday appeared be likely
to be a light, but clear and beautiful day, with Sunday appearing to be a washout of note.
So a lot of warbird building got done by a whole bunch of guys
over the weekend as Saturday just fizzled into a great nothingness
of note, and Sunday turned into a howler of note with torrential rain
and cold as a brass monkey temperatures.
After being cooped up for the day in the building shed,
and getting tired of sanding Cyno off my fingers
Brendan and myself took off to Chappies in the late evening
to be greeted by the most beautiful winters day imaginable.
But alas there was not even a breath of wind to be had,
so a good hour of sitting in the sun, chatting away and seeing the day pass
was just what the doctor ordered and the view was just to spectacular to behold.
Man I love the Cape!
Apologies for the crappy cellphone pic, but you get the idea.
